Tip #1 - Numbering Your Outfits

Onboard my Rampage 45 "Sandy-ita" we number all outfits with a visible number for their assigned position in the cockpit. This in combination with placing tags on our lines allows us to quickly place all rods back in their original position on the covering board and the lures back in the exact same spot in the spread they were running after having to remove them for fighting a fish. Each outfit goes back to the same position eliminating the guess work. Having the outfits numbered also help for identifying and keeping a log of when each of the outfits was last serviced or had line changed. We use a labeling machine and stick the label on each rod right above the reel as you can see in the attached picture.
